We were honoured to participate in the official launch of the third edition of Insurance Law in Singapore by Professor Tan Lee Meng, held this afternoon. This latest edition reflects Professor Tan’s continued contribution to legal scholarship and practice, and we are proud to support his work. Professor Tan holds a special place in our hearts, having served as Dean of the NUS Law School when I began my journey there in 1989.

The event was graced by the Guest of Honour, Justice Steven Chong S.C., Justice of the Court of Appeal of Singapore, whose presence lent great significance to the occasion.

It was a privilege to join distinguished members of the legal fraternity at the launch, including Justices Kannan Ramesh, Hri Kumar, and Ang Cheng Hock. Eminent figures in private practice and academia also attended, among them Mr Jimmy Yim S.C., Mr Sreenivasan Narayanan S.C., Professor Tan Cheng Han S.C., and Professor Leong Wai Kum.

We were especially pleased that Singapore’s Attorney-General, Mr Lucien Wong S.C., was present to celebrate this important milestone in Singapore’s legal literature.

Congratulations once again to Professor Tan on this significant achievement. We look forward to seeing the continued impact of his work on the legal landscape in Singapore and beyond.
