I have had the privilege of serving as the legal advisor to the Singapore Plastic Industry Association (SPIA) since 2002. Over the years, my role has allowed me to work closely with the Association, providing legal guidance and support as it navigates an evolving business landscape. From regulatory matters to strategic decision-making, I’ve had the opportunity to contribute to SPIA’s growth and success.

Tonight, as the SPIA celebrates its 35th Anniversary, I am filled with pride in the organization’s remarkable journey. What began as a group focused on plastic manufacturing has evolved into a forward-thinking association committed to environmental responsibility and sustainability. This transformation reflects the leadership’s vision and the industry’s adaptation to global environmental challenges, making SPIA a leader in promoting green initiatives within the plastic industry.

As I continue my role with the SPIA, I am honored to witness and participate in this progressive shift. It is inspiring to see how far the Association has come, and I look forward to supporting its future endeavors. Wishing SPIA a heartfelt Happy 35th Anniversary and many more years of innovation and success ahead.
