We had the pleasure of attending a wonderful Loh Hei lunch-time gathering at the office of Tuan Sing Holdings Ltd this afternoon, marking the auspicious 15th day of the Snake Lunar New Year. This joyous occasion was made even more special with the presence of distinguished guests, including His Excellency Cao Zhongming, the China Ambassador to Singapore, and his wife, Madam Yang Qing.
The highlight of the event was an insightful fireside chat with Ms. Peggy Dulany, Founder and Chair of SYNERGOS and the Global Philanthropic Circle. Her perspectives on global philanthropy, sustainable development, and collaborative leadership left a lasting impression on everyone present.
It was also a delight to reconnect with esteemed individuals such as Mr. Daryl Tan, great-grandson of the legendary philanthropist, Mr. Tan Kah Kee, whose legacy of education and community-building continues to inspire many. Additionally, meeting Ms. Mildred Tan, a distinguished member of the Council of Presidential Advisers, was a great privilege, as she continues to contribute significantly across various leadership roles.
Of course, no Lunar New Year celebration is complete without the Loh Hei tradition! This year, we were treated to a visually stunning and beautifully arranged Loh Hei dish—the most exquisite one we’ve seen so far! The tossing of the yu sheng was filled with laughter, well wishes, and positive energy, symbolizing a prosperous and successful year ahead.
As we embrace the Year of the Snake, I would like to extend my warmest wishes to everyone—may 2025 bring abundance, good health, and happiness to all.
