My heartfelt thanks to the Singapore Business Times for the honor of inviting me to the 30th Enterprise 50 Awards tonight. This prestigious event celebrates the unwavering spirit of enterprise and innovation that has been the hallmark of Singapore’s corporate landscape. It is inspiring to witness so many exceptional leaders and companies coming together to showcase their achievements and commitment to excellence.

Since its inception three decades ago, the Enterprise 50 Awards have served as a launchpad for countless businesses and individuals, propelling them to greater heights. Many CEOs of past E50-winning companies have gone on to scale extraordinary levels of success, including receiving the coveted title of Singapore Businessman of the Year and earning recognition on international platforms such as the Forbes List. A shining example is my good friend, Mr. Sam Goi, the visionary CEO and Founder of Tee Yih Jia Food Manufacturing. Known as the “Popiah King,” Mr. Goi has not only built a thriving business empire but also achieved the distinction of being a multibillionaire listed on the Forbes September 2024 List. His journey from humble beginnings to global recognition is a testament to the transformative power of hard work, innovation, and resilience.

To all the winners tonight, I extend my heartfelt congratulations. Your success stories exemplify the spirit of entrepreneurship and the drive for continuous improvement.
