I had the privilege of representing this morning (25 June 2024) at the symbolic Striking of the Gong ceremony hosted by the Singapore Exchange (SGX). This event was held in conjunction with the 25th Anniversary of the Securities Investors Association (Singapore), or SIAS.

I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Mr. David Gerald, Founder and President of SIAS, for his exceptional leadership since the Association’s inception in 1999. Under his guidance, SIAS has grown into a cornerstone of the Singapore securities market. The Association plays a crucial role in collaborating with market regulators to uphold the integrity of the Singapore market and safeguard the interests of minority investors.

I am deeply grateful to SGX for hosting this event and for its unwavering support of SIAS over the years.
