In summary:

I am honored to have been invited to a lunch today with several distinguished individuals, including Singapore’s Former President Dr. Tony Tan, DBS Bank CEO Mr. Piyush Gupta, Former Cabinet Minister Mr. Lim Chee Onn, Former Top Civil Servant Mr. J.Y. Pillay, and Ms. Ong Ai-Boon, Director of the Association of Banks Singapore. The event was graciously hosted by Mr. David Gerald.

A significant highlight of the day was when Dr. Tony Tan kindly autographed my copy of his recent biography, an inspiring memento that I will cherish.

Additionally, I had the wonderful opportunity to catch up with Mr. J.Y. Pillay, a legendary figure in Singapore’s Civil Service. It was fascinating to hear his insights and experiences, especially considering that Mr. Lee Kuan Yew once described him as someone who is equal to the best brains in America. The entire experience was both enriching and memorable.
